This space used to be merely a vacation home for me while I represented myself elsewhere. More and more, though, it's becoming my main identity out here in the pixel world. And like every aging home, eventually it needs a few repairs, some structural improvements, and a fresh coat of paint.

I was a poor (read: infrequent) blogger, but I did have something going for me here. Recently I got with it and started bringing along my camera to better document my little road trips (why the big deal? I'll divulge soon enough.) As I recorded more and more and wrote less and less I knew something had to be done or give up this space as a content-lite dead end. So, with repair and rejuvenation in mind I closed shop for a bit and worked to orient the site to focus on the strengths instead of the weaknesses.

Video is what I like producing the best so a video player is front and center thanks to blip.tv. If all falls into place what will emerge will be more structured than a vlog, less produced and predictable than a "show." What do I call it? Who knows, and who cares...I just want to provide something fun to watch.

The add-ons are built, the repairs made. A new coat of paint is in the works. Even with folks subscribing via iTunes or their own feed gathering tool it still matters to me. After all, this is where I live. :)
